FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save FALCÕES VERDES from getting a goal against them. Afonsinho Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Júlio Fonseca hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Thiago de Queiroz scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Fonseca came free, but Jefferson Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xiboquinha FC's Joélson Lopez got his second yellow card of the match in the 19th minute. The referee ordered Joélson Lopez off the ground. Joélson Lopez hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Júlio Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Xiboquinha FC defense, Maicon Diniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jefferson Goiano. The Xiboquinha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson Goiano should have stopped the shot. After some careless play in the Xiboquinha FC defense, Thiago de Queiroz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jefferson Goiano. The Xiboquinha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson Goiano should have stopped the shot. Xiboquinha FC's Jefferson Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Fonseca in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute FALCÕES VERDES were awarded a corner. Clóvis Marinho went to the cornerflag to take it. Jefferson Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maicon Diniz went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. A collision led to Xiboquinha FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sérgio Secco hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes, FALCÕES VERDES's Clóvis Marinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jefferson Goiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FALCÕES VERDES reached it. In the 47th minute, Júlio Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half FALCÕES VERDES were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jefferson Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago de Queiroz in the 51st minute of play. Dalmo Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Meireles in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Júlio Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xiboquinha FC's Jefferson Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xiboquinha FC's Jefferson Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Xiboquinha FC from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Júlio Fonseca notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Xiboquinha FC's Jefferson Goiano. Jefferson Goiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th play minute Thiago de Queiroz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jefferson Goiano. 0-7. Hélder Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Sergipano having to interfere. Dalmo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Meireles in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Júlio Fonseca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jefferson Goiano, 0-8. Hélder Meireles's late challenge caught a FALCÕES VERDES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Hélder Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Quintal hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Jefferson Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Gerber. In the 90th minute, Maicon Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FALCÕES VERDES played a much better game than Xiboquinha FC and deserved their victory. The Xiboquinha FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
