Galo na Veia FC™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Munhoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. João Adolfo Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Munhoz's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute Hulk Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Gil Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes FC St. Pauli got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Massa. Jacinto Munhoz scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Adolfo Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guilherme Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Marquinhos de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Adolfo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Adolfo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Munhoz in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulk Haaland in the 32nd minute of play forced FC St. Pauli's goalkeeper Guilherme Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, FC St. Pauli's goal looked a bit too open when Hulk Haaland came free, but Guilherme Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Marquinhos de Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. João Adolfo Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Galo na Veia FC™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC St. Pauli were winning 0-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulk Haaland in the 51st minute of play forced FC St. Pauli's goalkeeper Guilherme Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Galo na Veia FC™ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hulk Haaland hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes FC St. Pauli got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos de Sousa. In the 55th minute of the match, Marquinhos de Sousa got a very nice opportunity to score, but João Adolfo Fonseca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 0-4 became the score in the 56th minute when Jacinto Munhoz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. FC St. Pauli's Arí Britto was substituted for Marquinhos de Amorim. Chico Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Leopoldo Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Mendonça having to interfere. After 65th play minutes Marquinhos de Sousa shot 0-5, a short shot which went by João Adolfo Fonseca and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of FC St. Pauli booed when Galo na Veia FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Munhoz came free, but João Adolfo Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Guilherme Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquinhos de Sousa in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Adolfo Fonseca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Galo na Veia FC™'s João Adolfo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Munhoz in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute Hulk Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Jacinto Munhoz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Adolfo Fonseca. Jacinto Munhoz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. With a little luck, Galo na Veia FC™'s João Adolfo Fonseca got control of the ball when Marquinhos de Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Adolfo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC St. Pauli's Jacinto Munhoz. But to his dismay, Jacinto Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Gil Leal hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Galo na Veia FC™'s João Adolfo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos de Sousa in the 92nd minute of play.
