If José Vítor Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulk Haaland in the 13th minute of play forced Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Dinei Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Carrossel Caipira's José Vítor Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Adolfo Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 30th match minute, Carrossel Caipira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio Barral to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, José Vítor Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Valdomiro Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo na Veia FC™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Valdomiro Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carrossel Caipira's Dinei Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Haaland in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hulk Haaland in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinei Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel de Sousa took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinei Hermes. Dinei Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Galo na Veia FC™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carrossel Caipira:s goal. In the 49th minute, Paulão Veiga made a precise shot to the right of João Adolfo Fonseca. Galo na Veia FC™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dinei Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráusio Favoretto in the 56th minute. If José Vítor Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Vítor Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Hermes having to interfere. Raúl Godoi hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Galo na Veia FC™'s Joaquim Branco got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Paulão Veiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Adolfo Fonseca. Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. João Adolfo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Hermes in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Galo na Veia FC™'s Chico Magalhães got a free kick in the 80th minute. When Galo na Veia FC™'s Emanuel de Sousa in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carrossel Caipira's goalie prevented a goal. Leopoldo Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Galo na Veia FC™'s Valdomiro Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
