The audience was convinced that Christian Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Régis Mota was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in REAL RIO CRVG's zone, Christian Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Mota came out of the goal and Christian Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 minutes, Juninho Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REAL RIO CRVG and the ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ booed when REAL RIO CRVG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
