Edinho Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Erik Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rômulo Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizinho Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Camargo having to interfere. Edinho Carvalho got his second yellow card in the match during the 18th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Luizinho Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Barra EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Barra EC's Leonardo Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rômulo Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Guerra during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Leonardo Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Guerra hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Godoi in the 45th minute of play forced Barra EC's goalkeeper Rômulo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Guerra got free with Carlos Lima in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizinho Rezende to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Corteva FC's Luizinho Rezende nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rômulo Camargo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Erik Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Filipe Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Corteva FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Vargas couldn't finish the play. Corteva FC's Luizinho Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Leonardo Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 minutes, Henrique Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barra EC and the Corteva FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rômulo Camargo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Godoi's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Leonardo Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Lima having to interfere.
