Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Osvaldo Soares made the kick off which started today's match. Danilo Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rômulo Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Caco Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rômulo Camargo. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. 11 minutes into the match, Barra EC's goalkeeper Rômulo Camargo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Faria. Dudu Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Barra EC got a freekick which was hit by Dudu Rocha. Osvaldo Soares took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rômulo Camargo. Rômulo Camargo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Osvaldo Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barra EC's Rômulo Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Mota in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Rogério Gomes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rômulo Camargo. The goal made the score 3-0. André Luís de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edvaldo de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jacinto Vander hit a great ball. Rômulo Camargo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Soares in the 35th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Barra EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Osvaldo Soares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rômulo Camargo. The goal made the score 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís de Amaral in the 47th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Edvaldo de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when André Luís de Amaral made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Fernandinho Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Edson Linhares hit a great ball. Barra EC's Rômulo Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Soares in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Caco Mota made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rômulo Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Barra EC's zone, Caco Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Camargo came out of the goal and Caco Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 minutes, Ricardo Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barra EC and the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Santos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís de Amaral came free, but Edvaldo de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rômulo Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vicente Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rômulo Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Mota in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Vicente Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rômulo Camargo was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 90th minute Danilo Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Danilo Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rômulo Camargo. Barra EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA fully deserved thier win.
