The referee ignored BraveHeart Warriors's protests and gave Elói Sanches a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes BraveHeart Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Elói Sanches. Reynaldo Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfredo Zonta's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dinei Arce to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, BraveHeart Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Vides came free, but Reynaldo Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Glorious FC's Manfredo Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Lauro Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Queirós was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 86th minute Aloísio Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
