Cachoeirinha's Reginaldo Teixeira got a free kick in the 16th minute. Márcio Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fabinho Vinhas hit a great ball. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when JURIDIQUES F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márcio Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Abraão during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, JURIDIQUES F.C's Edgard Abraão got a free kick in the 30th minute. Percy Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Moreno in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, JURIDIQUES F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Alves to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Percy Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton de Brito in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Romário to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Renatinho Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael de Carvalho came out of the goal and Renatinho Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Romário struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ismael de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JURIDIQUES F.C. In the 61st match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Rafinha Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Percy Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafinha Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Palmeira having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Fabinho Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Percy Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Silas de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. JURIDIQUES F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Fabinho Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Anselmo Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Lauro Moura led 85 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. JURIDIQUES F.C's Percy Palmeira became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. With his leg Percy Palmeira managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when S.E. Cachoeirinha's Fabinho Vinhas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the JURIDIQUES F.C defense, Rafinha Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percy Palmeira. The JURIDIQUES F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percy Palmeira should have stopped the shot. In the 94th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Moreno to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. S.E. Cachoeirinha walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
