In the 5th minute of the game, Hílton Alagoano landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 5 minutes into the game, Magno Rosado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARON FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E. Cachoeirinha the free kick. Nando Rosa's late challenge caught a S.E. Cachoeirinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nando Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. ARON FC's Nando Rosa got his second yellow card of the match in the 10th minute. The referee ordered Nando Rosa off the ground. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when ARON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabinho Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Zé Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Cachoeirinha. A collision led to ARON FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jano Costa hit a great ball. If Reginaldo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute of the match Lauro Moura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Saraiva skillfully saved the ball. Fabinho Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Saraiva having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jano Costa got free with Ismael de Carvalho in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ARON FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leandro Sousa in the 27th minute. ARON FC's Leandro Sousa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael de Carvalho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 30th minute, Rafinha Gonçalves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E. Cachoeirinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jano Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the game, Fabinho Vinhas threw the ball into play from the sideline. ARON FC's Magno Rosado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Fabinho Vinhas with Rafinha Gonçalves as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Reginaldo Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Saraiva was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game.

ARON FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Magno Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Costa in the 83rd minute of play. If Rafinha Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ARON FC's Zé Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Teixeira in the 90th minute of play. S.E. Cachoeirinha's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
