Thiago Miranda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maicon Nunes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 21 minute of play. The Paulista F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antônio Carlos de Castro should have stopped the shot.
