Baltazar Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilvan Faria went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to FC La Masia getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Christian Porto hit a great ball. Baltazar Nascimento was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hortêncio Passos. If Hortêncio Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcisio Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinei Palmeira went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinei Palmeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudinei Palmeira in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tarcisio Gerber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 57th minute, Gilvan Faria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. If Hortêncio Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC La Masia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for EDI MZB.
