Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Samurai Champions FC's Mané Catarinense started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Mané Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Samurai Champions FC booed when Joinville Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Silva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alex Pereira. Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gilvan Lopes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Alex Pereira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renan Sena went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Davi Loureiro put in a rough tackle. Alexsandro Netto had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Célio Mangueira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Sena in the 24th minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Alex Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Joinville Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Arantes to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match Jeferson Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Pereira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Samurai Champions FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mauro Silva hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Arnaldo Tasso got a free kick in the 40th minute.

Ricardo Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes Samurai Champions FC got a freekick which was hit by Mané Catarinense. Ricardo Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Célio Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. The supporters of Samurai Champions FC booed when Joinville Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeferson Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Nestor de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Hélio Furtado got a free kick in the 89th minute. João Pedro da Mata hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
