Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dráusio Toscano made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Galo do Japi defense, Frederico Bertassi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedito Nóbrega. The Galo do Japi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedito Nóbrega should have stopped the shot. After 11 minutes of play, Galo do Japi's Ademir Carvalho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luizão Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luizão Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Toscano in the 14th minute of the match. Benedito Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedito Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Luiz Gustavo do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Nóbrega. Galo do Japi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 26 minutes into the match, Kiko Novaes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Catugi FC's Luizão Braga. Luizão Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedito Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Moreira in the 29th minute of play. Ademir Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luizão Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo do Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catugi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo do Japi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Luiz Gustavo do Valle got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Orlando Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Hudson Bezerra hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Luizão Braga was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kauã Damião. Denílson Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Luizão Braga made a huge save. After 40 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Breckenfeld. Luizão Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Toscano in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Denílson Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Luizão Braga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cláudio Moreira made the kick off in the second half. Luizão Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denílson Urbano's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Dida Batista hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Kauã Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo do Japi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Dudu Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luizão Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 64th minute, Ademir Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luizão Braga was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. 68 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Urbano came free, but Luizão Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Benedito Nóbrega made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Carvalho in the 73rd minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Luizão Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu Alagoano took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luizão Braga. Luizão Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Bertassi in the 85th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Benedito Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Catugi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguinho Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Kauã Damião shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luizão Braga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Dudu Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luizão Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. When Denílson Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Galo do Japi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Urbano couldn't finish the play. Luizão Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Urbano in the 96th minute of the match. Galo do Japi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
