When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Robinho Teixeira put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Chicão Oliveira. 36 minutes into the match, Cipriano Rosado notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Trindade Atlético Club's Chicão Oliveira. Chicão Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Robinho Teixeira sped through Trindade Atlético Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chicão Oliveira. After 45 played minutes Trindade Atlético Club got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Netto. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robinho Teixeira in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chicão Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Gaúcho hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With a little luck, LOBO 1908's César Tavares got control of the ball when Cássio Paes tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Márcio Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOBO 1908's protests and gave Márcio Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, LOBO 1908 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Robinho Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão Oliveira was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Pedro Augusto de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavinho Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Trindade Atlético Club fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Trindade Atlético Club's Cássio Paes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Many of Trindade Atlético Club's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Trindade Atlético Club may have spent more time on the ball, but LOBO 1908 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
