The supporters of Nada Pontual F.C booed when YESHUA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rui Romero hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Faustão do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Evandro Maia made a huge save. YESHUA F.C's Faustão do Vale was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Otávio Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otávio Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 81 minutes, Haroldo Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YESHUA F.C and the Nada Pontual F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Nada Pontual F.C's Rubinho Prata got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Otávio Loureiro. In the 88th minute, Alan Furtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otávio Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Otávio Loureiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Furtado went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. YESHUA F.C's Otávio Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Custódio in the 96th minute of play. The Nada Pontual F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nada Pontual F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
