With a little luck, YESHUA F.C's Otávio Loureiro got control of the ball when Antônio Carlos Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otávio Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Prata in the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Frédson Viana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Evandro Maia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Paulo Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Loureiro having to interfere. When Rubinho Prata fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nada Pontual F.C's protests and gave Rubinho Prata a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nada Pontual F.C getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rubinho Prata hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes YESHUA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Faustão do Vale. A collision led to Nada Pontual F.C getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Edu Meira hit a great ball. Evandro Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Reynaldo Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nada Pontual F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Faustão do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Prata in the 47th minute of play forced YESHUA F.C's goalkeeper Otávio Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Rubinho Prata took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otávio Loureiro. Otávio Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 59th minute, Antônio Carlos Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otávio Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Faustão do Vale kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evandro Maia. That made the score 1-2 in the 68 minute of play. In the 72nd minute Antônio Carlos Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão do Vale took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evandro Maia. Evandro Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão do Vale got free with Evandro Maia in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Cordeiro hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Antônio Carlos Paiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otávio Loureiro having to make a save. YESHUA F.C were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nada Pontual F.C's much stronger midfield.
