The supporters of Jardim América FC booed when CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrão Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Inácio de Salles hit a great ball. Ulisses de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 36th match minute, Jardim América FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th match minute, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Branco to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's zone, Tomás Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulisses de Sousa came out of the goal and Tomás Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedrão Neiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulisses de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Mazza in the 58th minute of the match. Ulisses de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo de Castro in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Ulisses de Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Mazza. Edu Costa struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Perivaldo Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE. Perivaldo Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diamantino Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute, Tomás Mazza made a precise shot to the right of Ulisses de Sousa. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
