AC Korban's Romário Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Salgado in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes, Vladimir Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Korban and the America FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of America FC booed when AC Korban was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robinho Leme hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Romário Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Torres in the 7th minute of play. Andrézinho Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Natã Tasso's late challenge caught a America FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natã Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, AC Korban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Tasso to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes AC Korban got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Siqueira. After a defensive mix-up in AC Korban's zone, Pedrão Salgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Godoi came out of the goal and Pedrão Salgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romário Godoi made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Bruninho Maciel sent off a good shot on target. After 18 minutes, Adhemar Siqueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Korban and the America FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adhemar Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AC Korban's zone, Aníbal Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Godoi came out of the goal and Aníbal Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Rony Arantes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romário Godoi, 1-0. AC Korban's Romário Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Salgado in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Aníbal Torres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romário Godoi. The goal made the score 2-0. Geraldo Passos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Simões having to make a save. Adhemar Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Rony Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. America FC's Arthur das Neves suffered a concussion in the 37th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Andrézinho Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrézinho Furlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AC Korban's Andrézinho Furlan got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Andrézinho Furlan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. In the 43rd minute, Andrézinho Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to AC Korban getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Adhemar Siqueira hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rony Arantes made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, America FC's Adelino Simões got control of the ball when Adhemar Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adelino Simões was a little too slow when Vladimir Koehler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 2-1. If Adhemar Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhemar Siqueira got free with Adelino Simões in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rony Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geraldo Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adhemar Siqueira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adelino Simões firmly grabbed it by the left post.
