Régis Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, CA Portugália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Cacá Quirino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Umberto Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício Antunes got free with Álvaro Zanette in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the CA Portugália defense, Adelino Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álvaro Zanette. The CA Portugália fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álvaro Zanette should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, CA Portugália's Evandro Barros got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a corner. CA Portugália's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Igor de Azevedo replaced Cícero Diniz. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CA Portugália getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Evandro Barros hit a great ball. Álvaro Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Álvaro Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Costa came free, but Álvaro Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Maurício Antunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 86th minute Adelino Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Zanette came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Tiaguinho Cardoso. But to his dismay, Tiaguinho Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
