After 4 minutes, Tony Bueno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the America FC and the Merusca F&P - CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes America FC got a freekick which was hit by Tony Bueno. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Costa in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adelino Simões saved America FC from getting behind. In the 7thth minute of the game Adelino Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but America FC's Adelino Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, America FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Diniz came free, but Adelino Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Pedrão Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Mathias Bueno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adelino Simões showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rony Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Adelino Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Costa in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Rony Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. America FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rony Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Eduardo Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes of play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Adelino Costa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adelino Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adelino Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 24 played minutes America FC got a freekick which was hit by Simão da Cunha. Tiaguinho Cardoso hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. America FC's Adelino Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Diniz in the 34th minute of play. Adelino Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Antunes went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Adelino Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Antunes in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Merusca F&P - CIMZ were awarded a corner. Maurício Antunes went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half Merusca F&P - CIMZ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Igor de Azevedo replaced Cícero Diniz. Pedrão Salgado's late challenge caught a Merusca F&P - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrão Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. Pedrão Salgado hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Maurício Antunes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adelino Simões but with some difficulty. 0-4 became the score in the 56th minute when Adelino Costa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adelino Costa didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-5 via right post in the game's 64th minute. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! America FC's Adelino Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save America FC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Adelino Costa sped through America FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adelino Simões. In the 80th minute, Maurício Antunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adelino Simões. The goal made the score 0-8. After some careless play in the America FC defense, Adelino Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adelino Simões. The America FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adelino Simões should have stopped the shot. Adelino Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Costa in the 86th minute of the match. Adelino Costa took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adelino Simões. Adelino Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. In the 92ndth minute of the game Igor de Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but America FC's Adelino Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. America FC's Adelino Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Costa in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Maurício Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
