Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rubinho Tavares 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Dino Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belmiro Meira made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Rui Paraense sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Orlando Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the COURO COME FC defense, Doni Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Domingues. The COURO COME FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Domingues should have stopped the shot. Durvalino Paranaense's late challenge caught a COURO COME FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Durvalino Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. Durvalino Paranaense hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes, COURO COME FC's Antônio Tasso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Belmiro Meira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in COURO COME FC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvaldo Bueno during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edvaldo Bueno hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Serafim Penha struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Dino Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botafogo MZRJ. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juvenal Cruz in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the game, Renan Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botafogo MZRJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COURO COME FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Botafogo MZRJ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Antônio Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Gonçalves came free, but Dino Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Santana hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Dino Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Cruz in the 52nd minute of play. Dino Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Gonçalves in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Celsinho Koehler made a precise shot to the right of Belmiro Meira. Botafogo MZRJ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Antônio Tasso hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Dino Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 82 played minutes Juvenal Cruz rounded COURO COME FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-4. In the 87th minute Juvenal Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dino Domingues made a huge save. COURO COME FC's Dino Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Cruz in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Botafogo MZRJ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than COURO COME FC.
