After 3 played minutes Goth Cloudy Experience got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Lucas. Fabinho Camargo charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabinho Camargo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabinho Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Diego Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goth Cloudy Experience's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Domingues having to interfere. Zé Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Leme in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Goth Cloudy Experience's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Cearense came free, but Lino Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Alex Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Carlos Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Domingues having to interfere. Diego Leme might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Leme ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Leme in the 41st minute of play forced LUIZ PANATO's goalkeeper Zé Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Fellipe de Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Maranhense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fellipe de Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. Ronaldo Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fellipe de Lara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diego Leme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Domingues having to make a save. Alex Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Afonso Maranhense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LUIZ PANATO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goth Cloudy Experience the free kick. In the 65th match minute, LUIZ PANATO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Goth Cloudy Experience's Frank Velloso got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Rômulo Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Maranhense. Goth Cloudy Experience's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rômulo Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Zé Domingues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Soares's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Diego Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Zé Domingues made a huge save. Fellipe de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Maranhense having to interfere. In the 82nd minute of the match, Diego Leme got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zé Domingues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Goth Cloudy Experience booed when LUIZ PANATO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute João Carlos Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goth Cloudy Experience's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
