Felipe Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Roberto Furlan scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arthur Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Academia Santista CIMZ's Arthur Sergipano got control of the ball when Felipe Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Flinston FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Gol came free, but Cauã Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia Santista CIMZ's Arthur Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Santista CIMZ from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the game, Wilton Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flinston FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Santista CIMZ the free kick. After 17 played minutes Flinston FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Abreu. Cauã Mazza came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Santista CIMZ's Diego de Medeiros. But to his dismay, Diego de Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Felipe Sabóia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Arthur Sergipano made a huge save. If Zé Roberto Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flinston FC - DMZ's Cauã Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Gol in the 30th minute of play. Felipe Sabóia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arthur Sergipano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wágner Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Pedrinho Gol came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Academia Santista CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Gol couldn't finish the play. When Cipriano Terra fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Santista CIMZ's protests and gave Cipriano Terra a yellow card for diving instead. Cauã Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego de Medeiros in the 41st minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedrinho Gol was the one to do the kick off. Cauã Mazza didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Academia Santista CIMZ's Arthur Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Sabóia in the 58th minute of play. Pedrinho Gol took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cauã Mazza. Cauã Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Leonel Xavier hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Academia Santista CIMZ's Maurício Terra tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Academia Santista CIMZ booed when Flinston FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Flinston FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Cauã Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego de Medeiros. A collision led to Academia Santista CIMZ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Faustão Mineiro hit a great ball. Cauã Mazza was a little too slow when Pedrinho Gol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wágner Macedo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Academia Santista CIMZ's Anísio Capixaba was substituted for Faustão Mineiro. Wágner Macedo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio Capixaba got free with Cauã Mazza in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Cipriano Terra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Santista CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Felipe Sabóia struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Arthur Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flinston FC - DMZ. In the 95th minute, Academia Santista CIMZ's Pedrinho Gol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6.
