Ibis Football Club's Eusébio Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Esteves in the 7th minute of play. With his leg Eusébio Gaúcho managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Aesir FC FSCMZ's Paulo Macedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Aesir FC FSCMZ booed when Ibis Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ademar Cavalcante came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Aesir FC FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Cavalcante couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ibis Football Club's Laerte Vander got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, Nestor Favoretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ibis Football Club's Geraldo Leal got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 46 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Vasconcelos. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Vargas was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Cavalcante came free, but Eusébio Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Paulo Macedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 65th match minute, Ibis Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Lira to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Macedo in the 68th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Ibis Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Linares to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aesir FC FSCMZ's zone, Dorian Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evandro Mattos came out of the goal and Dorian Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's Laércio da Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evandro Mattos narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
