The audience was convinced that Hernani Lira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Umberto Cruz was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 3-0 became the score in the 19th minute when Wilian Fonseca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Pombal during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edu Nogueira to make the kick off. Umberto Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tostão Borges came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tostão Borges couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mestre GG had played much better football throughout.
