The referee gave AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Evaristo Fernandes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC BARCELONA's Júnior Cardozo. 1-2. FC BARCELONA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizão Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizão Varela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
