Frederico Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 65th minute Cauan Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Isaltino Tepedino in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Alexandre de Barros. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goalkeeper Frederico Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Xurupita FC's Nestor Lara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frederico Queiroz. Frederico Queiroz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Acácio Teles's late challenge caught a Xurupita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acácio Teles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Tenha Dó Dó Dó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Teles to maneuver through the defense. The Xurupita FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Xurupita FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
