Juventus FSCMZ's Benedito Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Guilherme Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Dinei Goiano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Benedito Bastos. Benedito Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute, Adhemar da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Dinei Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Bastos. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Dinei Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Bastos. G.E. Naldo Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Branco in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleiton Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Dinei Goiano put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Benedito Bastos. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Arthur de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Mello came out of the goal and Arthur de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Naldo Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naldo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur de Toledo in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Arthur de Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naldo Mello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wambalamba FC's Dinei Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Chicão Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedito Bastos made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Dinei Goiano sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the game, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Chicão Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naldo Mello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-7. When the final whistle went the supporters of Wambalamba FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant G.E. Juventus FSCMZ side.
