Fabinho Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Senna in the 19th minute of the match. Ernani Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Hortêncio Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabinho Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hortêncio Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. Vista Alegre FC's Celso Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Vista Alegre FC from getting a goal against them. Celso Paulista made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Fabrício Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Fabinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Dracena in the 35th minute of play. Fabrício Godoi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Celso Paulista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 39 minutes into the game, Benjamim Sampaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vista Alegre FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarrasque Voador F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Vista Alegre FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Benjamim Sampaio hit a great ball. The supporters of Vista Alegre FC booed when Tarrasque Voador F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes, Vista Alegre FC's Diogo Bueno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabinho Arruda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vista Alegre FC reached it. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Waldir Souza made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Tarrasque Voador F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Custódio to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Luís Fábio Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Diogo Bueno could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Fabinho Arruda however easily saved by the left post. In the 57th minute, Fabrício Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute Waldir Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vista Alegre FC booed when Tarrasque Voador F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguinho Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Renato Dracena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabinho Arruda. That made the score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. Celso Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Fabinho Arruda made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Diogo Bueno sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Dracena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabinho Arruda. Paulo Renato Dracena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Fabinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Senna in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Vista Alegre FC booed when Tarrasque Voador F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vista Alegre FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
