When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Sydney Maciel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fabinho Arruda. A collision led to Tarrasque Voador F.C. getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ernani Custódio hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Kléber Tavares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabinho Arruda skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ernani Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ernani Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorival Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Marcelinho Donatello notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda. Fabinho Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmundo Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Godoi in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Antônio Carlos Mazza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmundo Lopes. That made the score 1-2 after 28 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Fabrício Godoi could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Edmundo Lopes however easily saved by the left post. In the 36th minute, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabrício Godoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edmundo Lopes. Edmundo Lopes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 41st minute Joaquim Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Sydney Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabinho Arruda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Fabinho Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sydney Maciel went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

Edmundo Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Joaquim Mandrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabinho Arruda. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Mandrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Edmundo Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes, Edmundo Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarrasque Voador F.C. and the FC Gustavo FPRMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmundo Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Eduardo Botelho hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Fabrício Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes of play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Ernani Custódio made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmundo Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabinho Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulisses Pontes in the 87th minute. Fabrício Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Fabrício Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Gustavo FPRMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
