Celso Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Souza in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabinho Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Renato Dracena. Fabrício Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Celso Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tarrasque Voador F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Eduardo Botelho hit a great ball. Jardel Favoretto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. Diogo Bueno struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Fabinho Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vista Alegre FC. After 15 played minutes Tarrasque Voador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Alagoano. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Dracena in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Tarrasque Voador F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Luís Fábio Cerezo hit a great ball. Waldir Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Celso Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldir Souza took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Paulista. Celso Paulista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Senna in the 46th minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabinho Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Tarrasque Voador F.C. from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 52 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by João Penha. Fabinho Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Bueno in the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ernani Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ernani Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Dracena came free, but Fabinho Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Souza in the 69th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Celso Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
