Erik da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio do Valle got free with Erik da Fonseca in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. União Agrícola Barbarense's Erik da Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save União Agrícola Barbarense from getting a goal against them. Mateus Pitta hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for União Agrícola Barbarense! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Carlos Fernando Aparecido hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Delfim Melo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilson Dracena. SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Didi Ramos got a free kick in the 59th minute. SE Palmeiras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Claudinho Damião scored to the left of an out of position Nilson Dracena, making the score, 0-1. In the 67th minute, Ian Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Pitta in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mateus Pitta hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Basílio do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik da Fonseca. União Agrícola Barbarense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basílio do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to União Agrícola Barbarense getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Giovanni Gaspar hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Bebeto Hermes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nilson Dracena, passed just outside the right post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
