Ferrari's Vinícius Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Breno Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Velasco having to interfere. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s João Augusto Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Alagoano in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to S.C. Ferrari getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Rui de Lima hit a great ball. João Augusto Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Washington Diniz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelinho Antunes to strike the kick off in the second half. S.C. Ferrari's Breno Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui de Lima took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Velasco. João Augusto Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 58th play minute Rui de Lima came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised João Augusto Velasco. 2-3. A collision led to SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Washington Diniz hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Rui de Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. João Augusto Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Washington Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Breno Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Breno Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. João Augusto Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Ferrari. João Augusto Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Rui de Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Augusto Velasco was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The S.C. Ferrari players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
