The crowd rose to their feet as SE Palmeiras's Basílio do Valle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnaldo Falcão. That made the score 2-2 after 81 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, Luiz Gustavo Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio do Valle hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Armando Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
