Samuca Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Cearense in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adilson Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mário Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Toninho Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wellington Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Torres in the 23rd minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Ismael Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BLACK BULL and the SUPERSTAR - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Ismael Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Adriano Carvalho got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Samuca Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adilson Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luciano Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Walmir Severo made the kick off in the second half. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Wellington Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Severo in the 52nd minute of play. Fabiano de Lara made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mário Maia immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Mário Medeiros got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Luiz Fernando Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Syd Black in the 67th minute of play. After 70 played minutes BLACK BULL got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho da Fonseca. Wellington Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute, Syd Black made a precise shot to the right of Wellington Donatello. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 86th minute Romário Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Severo in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuca Cearense during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes, BLACK BULL's Romário Aparecido shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wellington Donatello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BLACK BULL reached it. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Wellington Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Severo in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that BLACK BULL were the better team. BLACK BULL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
