Olavo da Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Lopes came free, but Olavo da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Goiano made a kick off. The Unidose II FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Triforce Super Soccer were furious when Giovani Meira was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Rodrigo Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Queirós having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Unidose II FC's zone, Téo de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Queirós came out of the goal and Téo de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Queirós having to interfere. Olavo da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Lopes in the 89th minute of the match. Olavo da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Xavier in the 91st minute of play. Triforce Super Soccer's Olavo da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Lopes in the 93rd minute of play. In the 99th minute, Téo de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
