Natanael Maranhense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlinhos Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Natanael Maranhense slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Rafa Mello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlinhos Amorim. VIAMÃO F.C..'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Mello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rafa Mello took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos Amorim. Carlinhos Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 31st minute Henrique Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When S.C. After 43 minutes, Wilson Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VIAMÃO F.C.. and the S.C. Reis United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, VIAMÃO F.C.. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Koehler to maneuver through the defense. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The VIAMÃO F.C.. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Amorim should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Mello in the 71st minute of play forced VIAMÃO F.C..'s goalkeeper Carlinhos Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VIAMÃO F.C..'s Carlinhos Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Trigo in the 76th minute of play.
