Spectators: 143 (Terracing: 108, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frédson Ramos kicked off to start the match. Carlinhos Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Novaes in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Edmílson Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VIAMÃO F.C..'s Carlinhos Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Novaes in the 6th minute of play. Marcel Schmidt's late challenge caught a VIAMÃO F.C..'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Schmidt helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Ferreira Lopes MZC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Schmidt. In the 12th minute Frédson Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Novaes in the 15th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Filipe Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frédson Ramos. In the 29th minute of the match VIAMÃO F.C.. got a corner. Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmílson Seco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edmílson Seco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ferreira Lopes MZC's Filipe Cruz did a great save. Thomás Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Frédson Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Filipe Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guilherme Cruz to make the kick off. Carlinhos Amorim made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Carlos Alberto Novaes sent off a good shot on target. Guilherme Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 58 minutes, Thomás Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VIAMÃO F.C..'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomás Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Guilherme Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VIAMÃO F.C..'s Frédson Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of VIAMÃO F.C.. booed when Ferreira Lopes MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Edmílson Seco put in a rough tackle. 63 minutes into the game, one of VIAMÃO F.C..:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 70th match minute, VIAMÃO F.C.. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomás Vargas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovânio Torres got free with Carlinhos Amorim in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filipe Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frédson Ramos went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Carlinhos Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guilherme Cruz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 80 minute of play. The supporters of VIAMÃO F.C.. booed when Ferreira Lopes MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Ferreira Lopes MZC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Duarte Prata hit a great ball. VIAMÃO F.C..'s Carlinhos Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save VIAMÃO F.C.. from getting a goal against them. After 89 minutes, Carlos Alberto Novaes made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. VIAMÃO F.C..'s Carlinhos Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes, Manfredo Munhoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferreira Lopes MZC and the VIAMÃO F.C.. players grew even worse after the yellow card.
