The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Rafinha Furlan put in a rough tackle. In the 88th minute, one of SAO JOANENSE FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SAO JOANENSE FC. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Ferreira Lopes MZC. Mané Araújo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving José do Vale. 3-2. In the 93rd match minute, SAO JOANENSE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Duarte Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, SAO JOANENSE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Lara to maneuver through the defense. SAO JOANENSE FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
