Dé Travassos lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 3rd minute, one of VIAMÃO F.C..:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VIAMÃO F.C... VIAMÃO F.C..'s Carlinhos Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save VIAMÃO F.C.. from getting a goal against them. Carlinhos Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Torres in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to VIAMÃO F.C.. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Eliseu Furlan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Novaes in the 14th minute of play forced VIAMÃO F.C..'s goalkeeper Carlinhos Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, VIAMÃO F.C..'s Frédson Ramos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filipe Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, one of Ferreira Lopes MZC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferreira Lopes MZC. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for VIAMÃO F.C... Edmílson Seco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filipe Cruz. 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Carlinhos Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 41st minute, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Geovânio Torres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Geovânio Torres took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos Amorim. Carlinhos Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Carlinhos Amorim made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Carlos Alberto Novaes sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

5-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Duarte Prata elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Ferreira Lopes MZC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Guilherme Cruz hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, VIAMÃO F.C..'s Frédson Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlinhos Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Novaes in the 66th minute of play. VIAMÃO F.C..'s Carlinhos Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Torres in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Mané Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferreira Lopes MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mané Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ferreira Lopes MZC booed when VIAMÃO F.C.. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Koehler hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Carlos Alberto Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovânio Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ferreira Lopes MZC defense, Frédson Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filipe Cruz. The Ferreira Lopes MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filipe Cruz should have stopped the shot. VIAMÃO F.C..'s Carlinhos Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Cruz in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Guilherme Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3. A collision led to VIAMÃO F.C.. getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Edmílson Seco hit a great ball. Carlinhos Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duarte Prata went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score.
