Evaristo Mello did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Belmiro Godoi 9 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Academia B.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Novaes to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Aurelio during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Academia B.F.'s Belmiro Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Quadros in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Mello in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belmiro Godoi saved Academia B.F. from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilian Quadros made a kick off. Wilian Quadros took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Belmiro Godoi. Belmiro Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Belmiro Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Mello in the 58th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Academia B.F. defense, Wilian Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belmiro Godoi. The Academia B.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belmiro Godoi should have stopped the shot. Evaristo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulysses Peixoto came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia B.F.'s Erik Pereira. But to his dismay, Erik Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 80 minutes into the match, Academia B.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Mello came free, but Belmiro Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Wilian Quadros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Belmiro Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the game, Wilian Quadros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Belmiro Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiaguinho Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ fully deserved thier win.
