After a rather tough play, Planet Caravan's José Félix got a free kick in the 6th minute. Giuseppe Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Baltazar Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gurdurão's protests and gave Baltazar Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Planet Caravan's Benjamim Jacinto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 15 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Willian Siqueira. A collision led to Planet Caravan getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dedê Vinhas hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Benjamim Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play Gurdurão's Narciso Donatello was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Planet Caravan booed when Gurdurão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giuseppe Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Souza in the 26th minute of play. Jonathan Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Novaes in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bruninho Novaes hit a great ball. Benjamim Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Giuseppe Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamim Jacinto charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamim Jacinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benjamim Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Aníbal Guedes took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Giuseppe Nóbrega to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamim Jacinto was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Baltazar Mazza hit a great ball. Aníbal Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giuseppe Nóbrega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. When Benjamim Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Planet Caravan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamim Jacinto couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. João Francisco Furtado struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Giuseppe Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Planet Caravan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murillo de Almeida in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuseppe Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Benjamim Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vitinho Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, Planet Caravan's Benjamim Jacinto made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giuseppe Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamim Jacinto scored 4-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giuseppe Nóbrega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Murillo de Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Giuseppe Nóbrega. Gurdurão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Planet Caravan fully deserved thier win.
