Belmiro Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Academia B.F.'s zone, Benjamim Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro Godoi came out of the goal and Benjamim Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Academia B.F.'s Belmiro Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo de Almeida in the 15th minute of play. Belmiro Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by Marco Aurelio. Belmiro Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal Guedes's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Marcos Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Teixeira having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Pereira in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Teixeira saved Planet Caravan from getting behind. In the 40thth minute of the game Murillo de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia B.F.'s Belmiro Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Belmiro Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Souza's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Pereira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes, João Francisco Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Planet Caravan and the Academia B.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Planet Caravan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Belmiro Godoi made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Benjamim Jacinto sent off a good shot on target. Belmiro Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Belmiro Godoi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Murillo de Almeida in the 69thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Belmiro Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamim Jacinto in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the game, Marcos Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Planet Caravan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia B.F. the free kick. In the 74th minute, Marcos Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia B.F.'s Luís Guilherme Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belmiro Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 87th minute, Murillo de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Belmiro Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamim Jacinto's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Belmiro Godoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benjamim Jacinto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 97 minute of play. Planet Caravan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
