The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Rodrigo das Neves put in a rough tackle. The supporters of LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF booed when Miau Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gildo Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Miranda having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goalkeeper Sidney Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jailson Salgado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jailson Salgado in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dráuzio Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Miranda having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Miau Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio Carlos Ceresso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 79th minute, Orlando Vianna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erik Miranda. The goal made the score 0-3. Erik Miranda was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Orlando Vianna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orlando Vianna really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's zone, Gildo Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Miranda came out of the goal and Gildo Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Miau Stars had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
