In the 12th minute, Raimundo Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Queluzito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Leandro Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Monteiro in the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Monteiro in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Moraes saved LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Siqueira in the 28th minute of play forced LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's goalkeeper Leandro Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Raimundo Monteiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Raimundo Monteiro took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Moraes. Leandro Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Naldo Carvalho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Queluzito! 48 minutes into the game, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Jailson Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egídio Abreu was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Egídio Abreu hit a great ball. Leandro Moraes made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Raimundo Monteiro sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reginaldo Ribeiro during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Reginaldo Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's goalkeeper Leandro Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Monteiro. Raimundo Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Leandro Moraes made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Monteiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Moraes was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Queluzito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 1-10 when Raimundo Monteiro sped through LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leandro Moraes.
