But to his dismay, Luís Fábio Furlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, EngTULIO&Tupipano's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Perez came free, but João Pedro Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiaguinho Pirani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Pernambucano in the 12th minute. Andrézinho Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrézinho Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Andrézinho Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Furlan in the 26th minute of play forced PATO BRANCO FC's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fábio Furlan took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiaguinho Pirani. Tiaguinho Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, PATO BRANCO FC's Tiaguinho Pirani got control of the ball when Fred Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes, Elivélton Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EngTULIO&Tupipano and the PATO BRANCO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to EngTULIO&Tupipano getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Elivélton Valladares hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Favoretto got free with João Pedro Moraes in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When João Francisco Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PATO BRANCO FC's protests and gave João Francisco Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to PATO BRANCO FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Abelardo Favoretto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised João Pedro Moraes 89 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in EngTULIO&Tupipano's zone, Matheus Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Pedro Moraes came out of the goal and Matheus Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
