Alex Tande's late challenge caught a Jaru-Uaru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Tande helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jaru-Uaru booed when Socanelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaru-Uaru's Luiz Fabiano Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Velloso in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Jaru-Uaru getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Paulo José Tróia hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Adilson Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Vargas in the 30th minute of the match. Raphael Vargas hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Velloso in the 38th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Socanelas FC made a substitution. Cléberson Bittencourt replaced Doni Paiva. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedrinho Schmidt was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Socanelas FC's zone, Pedrinho Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinei Oliveira came out of the goal and Pedrinho Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Socanelas FC's Rafinha Valladares got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Pedrinho Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Socanelas FC's Claudinei Oliveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudinei Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Schmidt in the 68th minute of the match. The long shot by Dida Motta in the 73rd minute really tested Luiz Fabiano Corrêa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Schmidt came free, but Claudinei Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, Socanelas FC's Raphael Vargas made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fabiano Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Schmidt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinei Oliveira. Socanelas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Schmidt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 92nd minute Pedrinho Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Schmidt in the 94th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Vargas got free with Luiz Fabiano Corrêa in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
