Florestal Futebol Clube's Ronaldo Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho de Godoi in the 21st minute of play. Ronaldo Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Penha in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Antônio Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Cássio Varela sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredinho Pereira skillfully saved the ball. Ronaldo Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Chelsicha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Gildo Mandrak scored to the left of an out of position Alfredinho Pereira, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Penha in the 42nd minute of play forced Florestal Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ronaldo Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chelsicha booed when Florestal Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

2-0 became the score in the 54th minute when Gildo Mandrak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 57th minute Gildo Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafinha Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Pereira having to interfere. Sebastião Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Rafinha Leão notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Chelsicha's Alfredinho Pereira. Alfredinho Pereira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. César de Queirós's late challenge caught a Florestal Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Chelsicha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Florestal Futebol Clube's Cássio Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredinho Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Gildo Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Florestal Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gildo Mandrak couldn't finish the play. Gildo Mandrak took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredinho Pereira. Alfredinho Pereira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Florestal Futebol Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
