Dida Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Tasso came free, but Luiz Fabiano Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Falcão Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fabiano Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Tasso in the 66th minute.
