The supporters of PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- booed when AVAÍ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nelsinho Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AVAÍ F.C.'s protests and gave Nelsinho Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. Luisinho da Mata struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ronaldo Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-. Ronaldo Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Joaquim Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gualter Jacinto hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Abel Barbosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualter Jacinto to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernani de Mendonça hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Ediberto Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ediberto Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldo Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho da Mata in the 61st minute of play. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Abel Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Bertassi in the 65th minute of play. Válter Bueno lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 69 minutes into the match, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Martins came free, but Abel Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AVAÍ F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Oswaldo Recife hit a great ball. Luisinho da Mata was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Joaquim Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Matos having to interfere. After some careless play in the PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- defense, Murilo Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Barbosa. The PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Barbosa should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Guedes in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo Matos saved AVAÍ F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Martins in the 86th minute of play forced PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goalkeeper Abel Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Santana. Ronaldo Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho da Mata in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Martins came free, but Abel Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswaldo Recife hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Ronaldo Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisinho da Mata.
